Catering the Vale of Glamorgan

The Vale has the highest concentration of barn and country-house wedding venues within easy reach of us, and it is where our units tend to get photographed. We work across St Nicholas, Cowbridge, Llancarfan and down to the coast at Llantwit Major and Southerndown. Most of these venues have a dedicated caterer pitch, which makes for an easy setup, but many also have conditions in the hire agreement about where a unit can stand and how late it can run.

We also cover Cowbridge, St Nicholas, Llancarfan, Barry, Llantwit Major, Southerndown, Penarth and Dinas Powys.

Getting to you

Distance: About 22 road miles
Travel time: Roughly 45 minutes from our Tonypandy base
What that means: A straightforward run down the A4119 and A48, which matters when a wedding timeline has no slack in it.

Check the venue pack before you book us

Vale barn venues often specify approved caterer positions, service cut-off times and whether open flame is permitted near the building. Send us the pack and we will confirm we can work inside it before you commit.

Coastal wind is a real factor

Venues near Southerndown and Llantwit Major catch the wind off the channel. It affects where we can safely site a wood-fired unit and how we screen the serving area. We plan for it rather than discover it on the day.

Evening food after a sit-down breakfast

A lot of our Vale work is the 9pm slot rather than the main meal: guests have eaten, the band is on, and people want something hot in their hand. Supreme Melt and the pizza oven both do that job well.
